Sözü geçen uzantılar, 17 Kasım 2008 tarihinden başlamak üzere, belgesiz olarak "ilk gelen alır" prensibi ile kayıt edilecektir.Ayrıca, 12 Eylül 2008 tarihli DNS Çalışma Grubu kararınca;"adsoyad.net.tr" alan adı, 17 Kasım 2008 tarihinden itibaren, belge göndermeksizin ("adsoyad.com.tr" kuralları çerçevesinde ) 12 YTL karşılığında tahsis edilecektir. Başvuru sırasında, T.C. İçişleri Bakanlığı Nüfus ve Vatandaşlık İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü'nce yürütülen "Mernis Projesi" kapsamında, gerekli olan kimlik bilgilerine tarafımızca erişilebilecek olup, yapılacak olan elektronik başvuru sırasında (www.nic.tr), alan adı sahiplerinin T.C. kimlik numaralarının yazılması yeterli olacaktır.
