Lavasoftun ürettiği Ad-Aware yazılımı, bilgisayarlara bulaşan truva atı, solucan, zararlı yazılım ve pek çok diğer zararlı öğeyi tanımlama ve bilgisayarı korumaya yönelik olarak kullanılan en popüler yazılımlar içinde sayılmakta. Sektörde 10. yılını kutlayan şirket 10. yıl için yeni bir Ad-Aware yazılım sürümü hazırladı ve sitesinde ücretsiz olarak kullanıma sundu.

Yeni sürümün (Lavasoft AdAware Anniversary Edition) daha önceki program sürümlerinden çok daha hızlı ve kullanışlı olduğu belirtiliyor. Ürün bir önceki sürüm Ad-Aware 2008'e döre sistem belleğini t daha az kullanıyor ve tarama sırasında diğer sürüme göre CPU'yu  daha az meşgul ediyor. Ayrıca saniyede 36 mb tarama hızıyla rakiplerinden çok daha hızlı olduğunun altı çiziliyor.

Ad-Aware Ücretsiz Yıldönümü Sürümü hem 32 hem 64 bit işletim sistemlerini destekliyor. Dikkat edilmesi gereken bir husus bu yeni sürüm yüklenmeden önce sisteminizde bulunana daha önceki Ad-Aware sürümünü kaldırıyor.
