Flv Recorder, HTTP ve RTMP protokolleri yoluyla web sitelerinde çalınan veya oynatılan akıcı ses ve video dosyalarını (FLV) kaydedebilen bir programdır.Program sayesinde çevrimiçi yayınlanan internet radyo, TV ve sosyal haberleşme sitelerinde yer alan FLV (Flash) dosyalarını indirip, bunları yerleşik FLV oynatıcıda gösterebilirsiniz.

Daha sonra bu videoyu oynatabilir, silebilir, özelliklerine bakabilir ve kaydı durdurabilirsiniz.

Programla birlikte Winpcap programı da kurulur. Bu program Windows ortamında ağ erişim bağlantısı yoluyla protokol aktarımlarını düzenleme, paket süzme, uzaktan paket yakalama gibi çeşitli özelliklere sahip.
